Tammy Kammerer
Tammy provides over 21 years of nursing experience and oversees memory care residents and staff at Oak Terrace North Mankato. She also has experience in home care, independent and assisted living as well as nursing home care. She is a trained Dementia Friends champion and has worked for many years with elderly in social and professional realms. Tammy has a love for the elderly and enjoys the problem-solving to improve their lives as they age.
Tammy is a graduate of Minnesota State University, Mankato with her Registered Nursing degree and was awarded the Acorn Award by Pathstone, recognizing her for innovation in LTC for working with behaviors and utilizing calming paint colors, lavender oils and scents, music and other non-pharmaceutical options, well before it became mainstream. Tammy currently volunteers at her church.
