Sarah Meyer
Sarah provides more than 12 years of experience as an LPN and registered nurse before transitioning into a manager role. Prior to joining Oak Terrace Jordan, Sarah worked at the Community Behavioral Health Hospital in St. Peter where she often worked with older individuals with mental health and physical health needs. She excelled in providing a calm and effective environment and has transitioned those skills into overseeing memory care residents. Sarah works closely with the management team, care managers, and nurses, as well as in-house physicians, therapy teams, home health and hospice teams to continuously update care plans for individual residents.
Sarah is a graduate from Excelsior College out of New York to obtain her Registered Nursing degree and is also a graduate of Rasmussen College in Mankato to obtain her LPN degree. While working at Oak Terrace Jordan, Sarah had the honor or being nominated and awarded the 2018 Care Providers of Minnesota Rising Star Award. She as volunteered in the past at for the Le Sueur-Henderson School District for their annual vision and hearing screenings from 2009-2014.
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys being with her family, spending time outside on the boat, fishing, campfires, exploring the river and checking out an occasional winery or brewery.
