Julie began at Oak Terrace as the activities assistant before transitioning to activities coordinator. She schedules activities for assisted living residents including arts and crafts, exercise, chair yoga, entertainment, weekly worship services, live music celebrating birthdays and much more. She is also in charge of coordinating resident outings for adventures such as shopping and sight-seeing. Prior to her position at Oak Terrace, Julie was a certified massage therapist and certified yoga instructor.

Julie has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Moorhead State University and studied abroad at Harlaxton College, Grantham, England.

In her spare time, Julie enjoys spending time with family, playing piano, traveling, biking, yoga, learning and sharing information about all areas of health and wellness.
